Philips HR2020 50 Silver Blender with 1.75 Litre Jug 400 Watt is an excellant machine. Does just what exactly it says on the particular tin! Makes soup, blends food and produced a fantastic Pina Colada (with written ice! ) or a couple on New Years Eve! I particularly like that experts claim the jug can be inverted and employed to cover the machine intended for compact and neat backup, meaning it's perfectly acceptable to rule out on the kitchen worktop among uses. Thoroughly recommended! My mother-in-law is known for a small kitchen and she's not very tall. She also offers arthritis. This blender was an ideal replacement for her 70s list. Why don't more manufacturers design blenders the location where the jug is stored inverted over the base? It saves loads of space, just the ticket. It's also easy make use of, not too tight fitting but no spillage, perfect for weaker hands. I undoubtedly rate this highly : and it's cheap, too! I don't usually produce reviews, but I want that will address a misconception which was given in another assessment. The blender itself itself is fantastic as well as extra-large jug is a lot better than our previous non-Philips food processor, which broke due to later years (well, five years which was disappointing). We almost didn't get this item because one of several reviews complained about the particular difficulty of fixing the jug to the base. The truth is that it is just like any other blender : you read the directions, line the jug upward and slot it into place. No fuss, very little bother, just great blending together.
